For some things - but not for others.
Temperature is way more intuitive in metric. 0 for freezing and 100 for boiling. The advantage to metric is that it's based on real world constants, not random measurements based on body parts. The foot was not even the same length from country to country till the 1950s.

Most other things are just what you are used to. If you grew up in Europe then you would probably say metric is more intuitive.
