I'm saying "cherry pick" because he went and found the one guy that said, "Well,
Ohio St lost their quarterbacks and didn't miss a beat.
Significantly less than 1% of BYU fans think this way (that we are comparable, or should be, with programs like Ohio St and Alabama), but of course he goes out and finds the extreme outlying opinion on the matter and passes it off as a common occurrence.
