Yes. I think it's b/c that (and others in the SL Valley) General Manager is a
BYU hater/yewt "fan," and as such, is the decision maker for that store about which local sports teams merchandise is sold and not sold in the store. Same thing with the Taylorsville Walmart - absolutely no BYU merchandise sold. The only Walmart in the SL Valley that has any BYU gear that I've seen is the one in SoJo at 114th South right off the freeway. That store has about 50/50 Y vs. U gear. Pretty lame when they don't sell any Y or USU gear (now that the dairyyewts have a decent football team). They are missing out on additional merchandise sales in those stores, but I don't think the store general managers care, since they hate both schools and love the yew.
BYU needs DESPARATELY to get into the Big 12 or any other P5 conference that would take us. Let's all pray that Baylor and TCU get shut out of the playoffs again this year...
