P5 status is fooling you. Missouri would do just fine as a G5 this year. They
are 4-0 in out of conference games. They would win at least 8-9 games with Boise's schedule.
Think back on the game... Did they look like they could win a lot of games in the MWC this year? The answer is an obvious yes to me. With the top SEC defense, they might shut out 4-5 MWC teams in a row this year.
