and it was definitely worth the trip (see picture below). The open house continues through Saturday, November 28th. If you have a chance, I highly recommend making the trip. We took our four kids and had a great time.
On the way back into the U.S., you typically have to wait in a really long line of cars crossing the border. Last night, as we were waiting, a man approached us soliciting donations for his church. He was in a white suit with a white sweatshirt underneath. As he got closer, my 7-year-old noticed that the sweatshirt had a big "Y" with the letters "Cougar Club" below. I talked to the guy for a minute. He had no clue what BYU was, but he was rocking the Y in Tijuana. I thought that was kind of funny. I'm sure somebody in Provo donated the sweatshirt to DI a few years ago and it ended up in TJ. Anyway, gear count for Tijuana vendors/solicitors: BYU-1, Utah-0.
