I thought about not going, but the temple is literally right off the main road, so I thought we'd chance it. I know of at least 15 other families that have gone down, and I haven't heard of a single problem yet. But you check the Constitution at the border when you cross into Mexico, so there's certainly some risk in traveling down there.
