If we hire a lobbyist or call on political capital it should be to get in a P5.
Independence means less access to NY6 bowls, less access to a playoff, inconsistent scheduling, bad bowl contracts, and no platform to help influence future NCAA decisions. Even Notre Dame, with its tv contract and all its advantages is getting hosed by the Playoff Committee for being a independent--where does that leave us? On top of all that, it means we are stuck in the WCC for the long run--no thanks.
