Absolutely not and here's the easy answer
The joy that would come from beating BYU in the Vegas bowl is far far far far outweighed by the pain of finishing a season in which we were once ranked #3 and on top of the world by losing to our local bitter rival.
It is truly a game of very little to gain with a win vs. a very painful loss.
Other options that I have seen - Miami, Penn State, NC State, Wisconsin. Give me any of those over BYU any day.
