you seem to be confusing acknowledging reality with advocacy; you don't have to LIKE the importance of the college fb ranking system, but if you ignore its importance, you're just being willfully obtuse

also, if you really think you're just comparing "football to football" between college and the pros, i can't help you; they are completely different beasts in terms of structure, marketing, parity, and competition (among other things)
