I agree but you can really only look at the SOS at the start of the season
At the beginning of the year BYU's SOS was ranked 15th but obviously no one knows what teams will actually perform like when it's all said and done. You develop a schedule that is competitive (and BYU has) and you hope for the best. The competition didn't live up to its end of the deal this year.
