He is my buddy. Funny enough he got into Pittsburgh, USU, and BYU. 4.0 or close to it, student government, started on MC Oline that played Highland for the State Championship, pretty good ACT. I believe he had full rides to all 3, chose to stay close to home.

Can't say I'm surprised at your comment though. I'm not sure if you are aware but the majority of people in other circles in the state think BYU is filled with among it's great people, a lot of ignorant and arrogant people. Watching Matthews on the sideline further cemented this view for me amongst some pretty messed up personal fouls today as well as all the other nut punch/brawl moments BYU football continues to produce. I mean there are plenty of kids who don't even hold close to the same values as LDS people on that USU team that would never think to get a PF by laying on top of a guy and holding them pinned to the ground, lighting up a defense-less player fair catching a punt, or continually turning to the home & also opposing crowd to taunt them.

Personally I wish the church would just can BYU football. Makes a lot of players and fans who I'm sure are better men than I am look like pretty big jerks and hypocrites at times. Congrats on the win! Mangum and your wide outs are ballin' out! I honestly will try to root for y'all in your bowl but sometimes I feel like you guys make it pretty hard to like ya and I feel I need to give you a hard time.
