Actually the D didn't cost BYU either the Missou or UCLA Games, it was the O
Bronco's whole program philosophy is designed around holding opposing O's to 24 points or less. The entire coaching staff knows this including Anae.
In both of those games Bronco's D achieved their goal and held the opposing O's to 24 points or less. It is Robert Anae and his O's job to score at least 25. Bronco has made no bones about this approach.
I do however agree that there is no way our D should have allowed more than 13 points to the Missou O. The Missou O sucks and the fact that Bronco's D allowed 20 points is completely unacceptable.
