Ourselves to. We play a G5 schedule sprinkled with mediocre P5 teams. If we traded schedules with any P5 team in the country we go sub .500. There is a difference that we don't like to admit between playing Boise and USU and playing a bad P5 team like Mizzou.
"Good" G5 programs like Toledo, BYU, Huston ect would not even be a .500 team playing a P5 schedule. We can get up for a game or two but to play against those teams for 9-10 weeks would expose them as frauds.
I have accepted who we are and life is so much better when expectations are appropriate.
Next year will prove my point. We will not win more than half of our half p5 schedule. Then we will finish strong against teams fully stocked with kids who couldn't make a P5 team
