If you have to try and tear one coach from 40 years ago down to build up your
boy, you are doing it wrong. Base your support of the current coach and argument in his favor on the merits of what he has done during his time as coach and make comparisons to present day.
It's as stupid to compare lows from teams 30 oir more years apart who played in what amounts to two different worlds as far as CFB is concerned as it is to say "get back to me when Bronco wins a NC and has a Heisman winner and is a consistent top 10 team". Well, unless you like pissing in the wind.
