He and Jim Plunkett are the only Heisman QBs to start a super bowl
Staubach was drafted by the Cowboys in 1964 (before his eligibility was up) and didn't join the team until after his 4 year U.S. Navy commitment was up. Jim Plunkett was drafted with the first pick by the Patriots in 1971 but won a Super Bowl with the Raiders.
