Agree defense is the problem. But NBA combine numbers tell us he is
at least as athletic as Dellavedova. Standing reach, wing span, and strength are nearly identical and Jimmer is quicker and faster.
But Delly has this incomparable passion to play non stop at both ends of the court.
OTOH, while Jimmer is athletic enough for the NBA, difference is Delly has valued playing consistent energetic defense all of his life. Jimmer can't seem to get into it. Delly has the heart of a pest; that's not Jimmer.
Another problem, NBA teammates would never give up their scoring careers, the millions of dollars and fulfillment that go with it for any other player as Jimmer's BYU mates did.
Love Jimmer for what he did at BYU.
