Mitch had a lot of expectations coming into this season as a (nearly) 3 yr starter and a senior and had a lot of hype surrounding him. He presents a big target that is easy for a QB to see, especially a young, inexperienced one. As for why Tanner didn't throw more to the other guys, you'll have to ask him, based on the numbers it wasn't because they were having problems consistently coming up with catches. In a few instances Mitch stepped up and had some big catches. I was very glad he picked the Utah St game to have maybe the best game of his career. He was a real difference maker. Like I said, he was very nice to have as a red zone target. He was very useful in that capacity.

As for the returning WR's, with another year of experience under their belt and more time working with Frank Wintrich, learning the offense, etc they'll come back even better than they were this year. This group has the talent and depth to just reload from one year to the next. We'll be fine in that dept.
