Way too much returning for BYU to think that we'd have a losing season.
An improved Mangum, hopefully Hill, hopefully Williams, 4 of 5 on the OL, a bevy of RBs and WRs -- the offense should be very good.
On defense, 4 of the front seven return plus 3 of 4 in the backfield. It should be the most athletic defensive backfield at BYU ever.
I recognize the schedule is tough, but I fully expected 8-4 for next year before Bronco & company left. I had hopes for 11-1.
I still have hopes for an excellent season next year. Hiring a bunch of rookies on the staff reduces the hopes, but a losing season is not acceptable. Period. The team we have should easily beat Toledo, Boise, Cincinatti, Southern Utah, UMass, USU. That gets you to 6 wins. BYU should be able to win 2 of Arizona, Utah, UCLA, West Virginia, Michigan State & Mississippi State.
