You can't really blame him

He comes from a part-member family and his dad played in the NBA and he was on the front cover of SI. He didn't grow up a BYU fan and lived far away from the rivalry. When it was time to pick a college, he was going to the schools that would help him secure a high draft pick status.

That being said, the answer was a bit too honest and he knows better than to give an answer like that.
