I doubt he meant any malice. He chose Duke. He had his reasons. He has that loyalty now. He has no loyalty nor does he owe anything to BYU. So why should he bend over to explain why he didn't choose BYU years after the fact? He obviously wasn't prepared for the question. I think if he had to answer it again he might say it differently. I'm not going to get all offended over this.
