The moral of that story is that Farve was dumb/uninformed as a young NFL QB, not that Ty was an offensive genius. Most of you pot bellied dorks on this board could have taught Farve that, so please stop with putting unreachable expectations on a first time offensive coordinator.

Before we set Detmer up as the next Bill Walsh, let's keep our expectations in check and let him first develop a playbook, which last week was reported as still being in his head. I hope every good thing for Ty, but we may be a season or two away from seeing what he's capable of.
