I feel if the BIG 12 takes another school hoping that it'll eventual look and act like a P5 school the BIG 12 will be weakened even more.

The SEC brought in over $500M this year a lot from their network but also a good amount from the playoffs. If they bring in a crappy team the lack of competition will hurt them as well when the CFP committee decides the top 4 of 5 conferences.
