focus and play team basketball (on both ends of the court), they can beat almost anyone.

When they don't, they can lose to almost anyone.

I don't know whose fault that is--whether it's Rose who can't get this group of guys to do what they are supposed to, or one or more of the players who just aren't disciplined enough to stick with the game plan (and others reacting to that). But as talented as the individual players are (and there is plenty of talent this year), this just isn't a very good team.

We've seen it happen enough times now that I have to conclude that this is the identity of this team--talented enough to be very good, but the chemistry is only there when everyone thinks the opponent requires it.

The good news is that this year's team could definitely win the WCC tournament. The bad news is that this year's team could also lose in the first round.
