I don't think "despite" is the right word to use here. With the way the Bronco

defense played, they didn't need all-star play from their QB. The defense scored 1 TD and got the ball back within the 10 yard line a second time, and that's all Denver needed to win the game. The fact that the offense managed to get a few FGs on top of that was just gravy.

That's is very true- however I thought Denvers D was amazing and Carlinas okay. Cam was aweful at times but I was amazed
