The Panthers D was amazing. There were almost no opportunities in the red zone. And with the Panthers offense making one mistake after another, there was no reason to open the offense up after the first drive. Just like the New England game, the plan was to switch field position on the first drive and let the defense take over. All Manning had to do was slightly outplay Brady and Newton. Mission accomplished.
