because Tanner will be the starter within a few games (or minutes of the first game). The only downside is the time he'll have missed as the designated starter working with the OL and receivers. But since Taysom won't be participating in spring ball Tanner should be ok anyway.

I love Taysom, but I wish he could have just played last season. I think it hurts Tanner and subsequently the team for the '17 and '18 seasons if Tanner plays backup to Taysom this year. I don't really want to see Taysom play somewhere else, but I also don't want Tanner to sit
