I LOVED the Dark Knight Trilogy but there was a pretty glaring omission of detective work in these movies. Yeah, yeah, he was able recreate a finger print on a destroyed bullet, but not a lot of Sherlock Holmes in him (one of the original inspirations for the character). I really want to see The World's Greatest Detective at work. It looks like they are leaning that way, as Snyder has said that Bruce built the Batmobile himself (not Wayne Enterprises Applied Sciences Division).

It will be an incredible feat, and unlikely, but its possible to top Christian Bale's Batman.
