for some more interviews. When he got his plane ticket and realized one hadn't been purchased for his wife, he called to rectify the "mistake." He was told that his wife could come if he really thought it was necessary, but would have to buy her own plane ticket (he already was getting a 4 star hotel room). He was actually pretty upset about that and we decided to cancel the whole interview. Having interviewed him on campus, I knew that he and his wife were still being financially supported by their parents.
As a BYU grad, I was extremely embarrassed by the way he handled the situation. As I've said many, many times, many people at BYU are married, but probably aren't mature enough yet that they should be. They're like kids playing house.
