We went on Norwegian a couple years ago and loved it. We did it in September because we got a killer deal and it was still enjoyable but the closer to summer solstice the better (IMO).

We did Sunday to Sunday from Seattle and stopped in Juneau, Ketchikan, Skagway, and Victoria BC (including a day on the ship in Glacier Bay).

We did mostly inexpensive excursions but "splurged" on a float-plane ride in Ketchikan. I was very happy with how it turned out.
