I have actually noticed the same thing in my area of Davis County
People are blatantly running red lights that have turned before they even get to white line where they should stop.

I have no answer to why. I sure hope it isn't because they have their heads buried in their phones, but it very well may be. We recently had a high school student hit in a cross walk only 50 feet from the fire department and the driver admitted to looking at his phone when it happened.

I really wish Drivers Ed would push really hard to educate that yellow lights mean stop and not speed up to beat it.
