Last year I put together a morning surf/wakeboard/ski group of guys in my neighborhood. We would rotate whose boat we took each week. I was able to ride most every make out there. Some are phenomenal for surfing like the Centurion but not great for much else. The Mastercrafts are great for water skiing and wake boarding but not so great for surfing. The Nautiques are great for surfing and wakeboarding but not for waterskiing. The MB sports are mediocre for all three but not great at any one. Of all the boats I rode, the ones that were the best for skiing, boarding and surfing were the Malibus and Supras. By far. I was a Malibu skeptic and thought it was all hype. Not true. Even the entry level Malibu, the Axis, was impressive.
