If we win consistently with the schedules we have, putting us in the
conversation for a big 6 bowl year after year, the offers will come, especially if we win out in a year like next year. And, having BOTH a healthy Taysom and a healthy Tanner, together with innovative new coaches, and a stellar need-filling recruiting class, may just be the ticket next year to put all of our chips on the table and go for broke. A win out next year, especially if the teams we beat do well, would echo forward significantly for the next 3-4 years, as realignment continues to simmer on the burner. There are those who will clamour that "it'll never happen," but I say beggars can't be choosey, and regardless of the odds, barring the injury bug, such a scenario would be the most likely one to play in our favor, so why not GO FOR IT!

And, if the basketball teams can get deep in the tourney the next 2-3 years (not that much of a stretch with the apparent talent), that would also help significantly to get BYU squarely into the spotlight and conversation. THe bottom line is that having dominating teams that simply can't be marginalized is the ultimate solution to all these issues.
