Audi cars have historically had bad reliability issues. Maybe
they have gotten a lot better. I would be VERY wary. I think people love them at first. But if you are looking for the long-term, I would go with Honda/Acura or Toyota/Lexus. Actually, I think a fully loaded Camry or Accord is hard to pass by. That's why used prices are so high (and therefore it may well be better to go new). There are some really nice Acura sedans.

I would just worry about reliability. If I'm only driving it for 3 years when it's new, I don't really care much.

Now the disclaimer: I have a 2012 MDX and an 8-year-old Accord, as well as a 15-year-old Odyssey that the kids can drive to high school (we call it the "Love Boat"). But I have had few problems with any of them--the Odyssey transmission was bad (a common issue in that year) and had to be replaced, but so far that is it.
