is a lot to do there. It is fairly accessible, the weather is nice, it is relatively inexpensive although less and less this being the case. There are nice surfing waves if you like that or there is incredible snorkeling/scuba diving depending on the location. The volcano is nice, but the hot springs are incredible. The Monteverde Rain Forest is amazing and it is incredible to see both the Atlantic and Pacific from the mountain. There is a lot to do there and even with a week you won't see half of it.
