yes - that's exactly how it works. If you're a new guy like me you have to pay tens of thousands to get seats but my
parents have their great seats every year until they die --- and then my youngest brother who is 30 gets to keep them for as long as he's alive. And since life expectancy keeps going up, it's likely that they'll get those seats for more than 100 years -- and never have to pay annual dues to keep them.

They'll never join the Cougar Club because they already have the exact seats they want. I can't remember what they donated originally but it was something like a $500 per seat one-time donation?? Not sure of the amount but it was pennies.
