Already happened. The entirety of alt rock over the last 15 years has been
heavily influenced by OK and Kid A. Kid A in particular, ushered in the movement of using electronics with traditional rock instruments, which became the predominate trend of alt music over the last 15 years.
Not to say that RH did it first, but they did it well, and did it in a way that influenced everyone else to do it too.
