My Oklahoma friends honestly were afraid to come to play bball at our church because of the blood sacrifices and altar we had in our special room. When they came to dinner they asked if my other wives were back in Utah. We laugh about it now, but there are deep misundertandings of our religion that sports interaction can clear up. The more they can get to know that we are normal people in big 12 country the better.
