I love the prospect of adding LJ Rose to this team. Yes, If BYU was an NBA team I would want another SF type that is 6'7"+, long and athletic. However, in college basketball guys like Chatman and Bryant can absolutely play and guard the 3 spot. Many teams play 3 or even 4 guards at high levels, including Villanova who is a title contending program the last few years. BYU simply needs some more depth to the guard line to play like that.

A guardline with LJ Rose, Haws, Emery, Chatman, Bryant and then Beo would be nice. Rose is a pure distributor but most of the others are shooters and scorers. I think Haws is a future star PG and NBA potential guy, but he can definitely play off the ball as a scorer. Adding a true ball handler and pure distributor to this guard line would be really, really a good thing for the team.
