I'm not a trainer, but I tend to think it's likely to over-stress some joints
to do some of the Olympic lifts too heavy, too often. Lifting should mainly be done to strengthen and help the stamina and flexibility of the soft tissues, but there is a point that risk to hard structure becomes too much. It's also hard to know where the limits are for a particular individual, but It could be more than just speculation that Taysom may have gone beyond those limits in the past. Who knows.
