Houston fits right in the Big 12 footprint and even help solidify the Big 12 as a Great Plains conference. UH also helps North schools get into Texas more often and helps the B12N secure full carriage fees in Texas, even with the Longhorn network still in play and without full UT inventory. It's also a nice push back against A&M, LSU, and the SEC in the Houston market. Get Oklahoma, Texas, and TCU...and of course UH...in Houston often - could be a big deal for Big 12 TV ratings and recruiting.
