Tanner might be great for a Frosh, but none of our other QBs on roster looked remotely ready to lead an offense last year. Whether or not Taysom starts this season--if he's ready to go health-wise, he's automatically one of our top 5 most important players whether or not he's the starter.
BTW, neither I or Shaka favor Tanner to start game one I don't think. I sure don't. I wanna see the better of the two from Fall camp for sure--but personally I prefer Taysom. Both of us just want people to be a little more honest with themselves about the strengths, weaknesses, abilities, limitations, knowns, & unknowns of our top two QBs. Too many are seeing what they want to see & ignoring what they want to ignore.
