The best he ever looked as a passer was in the first half of the Neb game and we know how that ended. Maybe that would have been the year he finally became that elite passer. Maybe this will be the year.

I've got the impression that Ty wants the qbs to be passers first in his offense. In my mind that called for Tanner. His stats as a true frosh just weeks home from the mission were unreal. Sure he was a little wild and a bit of a gunslinger still but I was thinking a full offseason and Ty's west coast offense would yield big leaps this season.

Either way I am now doubting myself and feeling more unsure on that point due to what I am hearing from Hans.
