Can Someone logically & with evidence in past few years (I know I making a lot)
Help me understand why so many CB users complain about Gunther while only using vague examples? I get he played at the U. AND at one time was a hater of all things BYU. Since I find him hilarious and being a former player enjoy his insight vs others in the state I listen daily.

RARELY does he say anything about BYU football that isn't a reasonable criticism. Majority of his comments are very positive and essentially the only topic he evaluates that might be a criticism is lack of depth by D1 level players. But subsidizes any possible criticism by saying their standards and requirements most HS recruits from making it here which in many ways could be viewed as a compliment. Constantly says BYU does more with less, SHOULD and deserves to be in a P5 conference, and is a nationally relevant program and has been for decades.

Is it simply because he played at the U (though he was 1-3 as a starter VS BYU and mentions often how BYU losses were the worst of his career), or that any media member who doesn't praise BYU 99% of the time is an idiot?

Main reason I tune in is he's hilarious. But I think CB takes posts about him as gospel and assume he's a typical ute hater. If anyone can find even 1 segment he did about BYU where he was more negative than positive I'd love to hear it. Utah doesn't have awesome sports media in general. But I'm convinced a lot of Gunther haters have barely if ever listened to him. They take his Ute days and others complaining and decide he's a bum.

Think some here might be surprised if they actually listened without looking for the rare statement they can find a way to get offended.
