Blackmon was reasonably fast by BYU standards, but, he didn't have anywhere near
the top end speed that Trinnaman does. Blackmon got chased down and tackled from behind way too many times at BYU for me to believe he ran even close to his claimed 10.6 100 meter (I can't find any evidence that ever ran that fast). 10.6 guys almost never get caught from behind...and they certainly don't get caught by safeties who are known 11+ second 100 meter guys.

Blackmon was great, but, he didn't have the elite top speed that Trinnaman has.
