IMO it helps everywhere. In everyway. Probably the biggest is the good LDS

recruits that want to be in a P5 conference.

There's more than most think.

Theres also a lot of kids that care about being in a good conference, playing for a conference title, playing in better bowl games, playing for conference awards, establishing rivalries with conference members.
