That Oklahoma and Texas and a few others may take the money and run. All of the new expansion teams will be asked to take a very small share. Some have speculated they may cap it at 50% of a share even after 5 years through the end of the current deal. And in years 1-5 it might be around 20%. Boise would have no advantage over others by agreeing to accept less since all candidates have to do so.

I think Oklahoma in particular will actively pursue other options when their GOR comes due in 2024, if it's not extended. I've heard sec or PAC as most likely destinations. I think things could change if this next big12 expansion proves to unite or benefit the conference, but that's a big if.

As far as Texas they'd probable prefer to stay put and collect huge LHN money as the Big fish, but if Oklahoma bolts I see them exploring options too. I've heard Big1G would be an option. Prestigious and lucrative conference even if Texas would be dealing with other big fish. The payout for the big1G in 10 years with their renewal will likely be greater than what Texas would get in the Big12 even with the LHN. The Big1G going to be huge due to big markets and big teams and if Texas were to join that would only up the pot. They'd have to dump the LHN, but the Big1G network could all but compensate.
