32 million
That's how much the Big1G paid out per school this year.

Even though Texas is currently paid more than that in the Big12 with its LHN, it's not as much of a difference as you think. So when the Big1G renews its media deal the money goes up to around 40 million per team (conservatively projected) it becomes even more enticing to Texas. As does the academic profile and prestige. ESPN may even considering encouraging or paying out Texas to get out of LHN and absorb those costs into the Big1G conference network.

Texas insiders have increasingly been taking about the Big1G being Texas' next move.

I know some of you think Texas wouldn't since they want to be the Big Dog, which they have in the Big12, but it's going to happen if Oklahoma moves. W
