"Technically" Christian Universities don't have ongoing cross-denominational seminaries like Brite Divinity School, which is one of the principal DOC seminaries in the world. It was founded in 1914 through a generous donation from the Brite family, of West Texas oil fame. I think it would be cool if a generous Mormon would endow a chair at Brite, so that Brite could also offer a LDS Studies program in addition to the numerous other religious study programs it already offers. Or is that too ecumenical for y'all?
Secular schools also don't usually have a Core Curriculum that requires all undergrads to take Religion credits (presently 3 hours). I took two courses - an Old Testament course and a New Testament course, but students have a lot of elective choices, including surveys of worldwide religions and others. TCU isn't Baylor (or BYU), but it isn't quite USC (or SMU) either.
