Not sure I would say it is an "Iconic D-land Ride" -

Iconic rides would be Peter Pan, Pirates of the Caribbean, Thunder Mountain, Small World, Matterhorn etc - Tower of Terror is very fun, yes, but not nearly Iconic IMO.

so, they are closing it at California Adventure then? what about Tower of Terror at Hollywood Studios in Orlando?
