A couple series a game. Another issue is that if he RS but takes 2nd string reps then coaches have to decide under what circumstance do they pull his RS and play him. What if Taysom needs a couple plays off, a series, a quarter or even a game or two. Do you want beau freaking hogue going in? Are you willing to lose a game or two if Taysom gets dinged up and needs to miss a game? Or do you pull Tanners RS for that. Id rather start from game one and give Tanner some reps all season long.
